    and eat lots of fibre?

drink lots of fluids and have vitamins and minerals aswell.

    why wont that work??
****ting a lot dosnt mean anything unless ur putting the proper stuff in ur mouth, i cud take laxatives but that defeats the purpose of a detox.U need the proper fibre to scrap off the hard crusted basicaaly **** from ur colon in lay mans terms.

Fibre as in the mucilages type rather than noncellulose polysaccharides such as oat bran. Mucilages found in psyllium,as it contains hydrocolloids that bind streoids and delay gastric emptying, this causes heavy metal chelation.

U can take vit and minerals on a long slow detox not a problem. Say a 10-30 day detox. But if say for instance ur doing a 2 day single fruit fast ie just eating appleas and drinking warm lemon water u sudnt take pills cause u need to let the liver rest as much as possiable.

Hey Cat what are those collon cleaning tablets ur taking?, they sound like they are working good

Some people cant stomach it and it cloggs there insides and they cant ****. Very painfull i know some1 who it happened to. u may want 2 start with a half dose each time ie 1 teaspoon instead of 2 and drink a plain galass of water straight after and u sud be fine. After 2 weeks if ur all good then u can take the full dose.

Most people to be honnest have no problems, its generally the people who are constipated that it can effect initially. But i thought i wud pre warn u just in case.

Dont fast with pysllium on its own waste of time, u will get more toxins and crap out by using it as a suppliment not purly the main detox tool. The correct food, water and fresh air are ur best detox tools accompanied by other products.

"Super Cleanse" by a company called Nature's Secret.

        Reading the label:

"Cascara Sagrada bark, Fennel seed, Ginger root, Licorice root, Irish Moss, Slippery Elm, Cayenne, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Barberry root, Chlorella, Marshmallow root, Red raspberry leaf, and Triphala."

The ex-Phish follower behind the counter at the health food store said that it kills parasites and sheds the lining of the colon, plus it has "good flora" (I guess he means the acidophilus) to replenish. So far, so good.

Excellent post on the differences between a mucilage cleanse and laxatives.

I take a pill in the evenings that is an herbal blend that is supposed to help shed the lining of the colon -- which is, from what I've been reading, what the twisted black rubbery stuff is. Then I take the psyllium twice a day (morning and night) and eat light -- clear soup and toast, protein shakes, Lean Cuisine. I'm not fasting; I'm taking in about 1500 calories a day.

I would imagine that this is not something you will be able to do before every fight and lose 5-10 lbs. each time -- it took my whole life -- 35 years -- to get all this built up inside me. But it seems like a great way to cut your walking-around weight and to get your stomach good and slim.
If I take this, can I go about eating my normal diet (which is generally pretty good- chicken, fish, apples, veggies, some steaks and Chinese food, etc..)?

Seriously nasty. But it works great. It flattens the stomach and sheds extra pounds that you can't get to with diet and exercise.

Absolutely. You'll end up eating less, because the fiber makes you feel full. Just eat at least 2 hours before or after taking the psyllium; give your food some time to digest.

Sounds good, I think I'll try this.

How often will I have to go to the bathroom?

No more often; just for longer. Don't get scared by what might come out; that's why you're doing it -- to get that stuff out. After the first couple of days, it will literally look like you're ****ting your guts out. That's normal. Keep going until everything looks "normal" again. For me it was about two weeks.

Fraidy, you get some K for keepin' everyone up to speed on this whole thing, and about your progress. I'm 19, so I don't know if I really need to do something like that myself. But under the advice of someone who knows what they're doin', this good be a great tool for any boxer. Hell, we run miles in bags, tryin' to lose 3 pounds of water, why not just, well, **** that **** out.
Good work man, haha, you're a pioneer of science
