Psyllim Husk is great stuff, u might get constipated at first but just make sure after u drink it u drink a big glass of water straight after.

It says to mix 1 TBSP with 8 oz water; I have been mixing it with 20 oz.
Something is definitely working; I took a 3-footer this morning.
What's interesting, from a potential-weight-loss perspective, is that I don't feel hungry with a stomach full of this stuff. I just got back from my run and I'm still not hungry. I might be able to make it on protein shakes, vitamins, and psyllium for quite awhile.

3 Footer Jeeeez u did well didnt u lol. .So it works then.
U sud still eat live foods thought imo.Live as in its been grown on a tree or come out the ground. Cant recommend not eatinh Ya greens

Hearing all these nasty stories about the fecal matter that accumulates in one's body over time and the fact that it's useless weight has made me decide to try to detoxify. My work is active and I need energy (besides I don't want to starve through my workouts) so I don't intend to cut out food, although I can cut back a bit on my intake. But I started with the fiber powder in my water and also the cayenne pepper in water is an excellent idea. Let's see over the week if this works. If I don't see results in the next few days I'll add the psyllium husk which I never heard of before this thread but I researched it and it seems to have high marks.

Third day. There is officially nasty stuff coming out, now. Looks like I'm ****ting braids of tire rubber, and it smells so bad I'm afraid it's going to set off the smoke alarm.
Edit: I'm using the psyllium 2x/day, morning and night, plus a nightly pill for anti-parasite that's also supposed to help with shedding the old lining of the colon. I think it finally kicked in.
I'm eating one normal, but light, meal -- dinner -- and the rest of the day is protein shakes or raw fruits / veggies. Lunch today, after my run, was g****s and sugar snap peas. I feel GREAT.Last edited by fraidycat; 09-11-2006, 08:01 PM.
