    Historic Boxing guards and parry

    I'm searching for material files or books about rare boxing blocks. That stuff that we don't see that often nowadays. For example elbow parries/blocks or crossed arm guard. Maybe techniques that were used in the time of bareknuckle.
    Would be great if somebody knows material to research for me. Books or files. Thanks for your help

    I think at first people were wrapping anything possible around their hands, because fighters keep breaking their hands during bareknuckle fights. It was really done to protect fighters from getting hurt to the head, more to ensure fighters didnt break hands and could continue fighting
