    Yeah keep at it man, these first lessons should be ok, but after 5 or 10 most people quit because they feel that their not learning anything anymore, STICK WITH IT, u'll go far.

      Throw the jab through the air until you feel comfortable doing it, and do alot of shadow boxing to get your timing right..

        I started only a month ago and damn I'm loving it. My jab still sucks but it is now marginally better than it was. People tell me I have a heavy right hand but that my left needs a lot of work. I am trying to throw the jab three to four times for every combiantion or power shot. The jab is the key to victory, or so my trainer says.
