Just my personal preference but I hate seeing guys throw rear hand hooks.

Better to develop a powerful, straight right hand in my opinion.

Fair preference, I'd generally only throw the rear hand hook when working and moving the angle to the left (be on opponent's right side) while they're against the ropes. That way it's quite a short hook because it's he hand closest to them. It's also why I have a tendancy to square up a bit more while throwing it.

Not sure what you were working on but remember every shot doesnt need to cream the bag. Pepper the bag with rapid jabs whilst you are resetting into your combo, keeps your opponent off you, stops them coming in. keep your hands, feet, or head always moving. nothing should ever be static

How long have you been training? Crucial information to put your performance into context. Besides that it was decent.

Anyway, work on your footwork. Too sloppy and slow. Shift your weight correctly when throwing shots. You are often off balance when throwing shots. So work on that

Work your jab more often and keep your hands up when throwing punches.

Throw more jabs. You need to worknon your in-n-out footwork, it's sluggish and you're not jabbing your way out, you also expose your chin cause youncome out with your head up and your guard low. Don't be afraid to lean on the bag and work on your inside game more. Work on changing angles on thebinside and pushing off. Jab your way in and jab your way out. You sometimes cross your feet when circling to your right. You got decent power but youbshould work on setting it up. Sacrifice some power for speed and end your combo with one or two hard hits.

              Thanks for the tips.
I've been training seriously for a few months but without guidance.. just self taught. Loved boxing for years but never boxed and I'd like to start competing.

I'll get another video up in the next couple of days working in those points. It would be great if you could take a look. Thanks a lot!

Elbows in and punch through the target not at it. Aim for something past the face of the bag. I recommend the center.

Thanks, my elbows slowly drift out towards the end of the workout when I'm tired and it becomes a conscious thing that I have to think about. Any nice tips/tricks to help this?
