The quality of yall boxing skills and measurements. Is he 6ft+ is he between 180-200 or 200-220 or 220+ is his arms long or short ? Quick hands ? Punching power ? His fighting style ?
Was there any muscle or mostly fat around the middle? That's a lot of weight for 5'7

I picture 'Two ton' Tony Galento. Except, if it was 'Two Ton', we could have just read a horror story...............Rockin'

I'm glad to talk to some people that's been in the ring. There are people here who think they know boxing history. no doubt many do. But they never been in the ring. I've been debating with this punk kid who thinks Marciano is a bum. all I have to say get in the ring with someone like Rocky. This little bi-ch would go crying to his mommy.

I boxed around 167-174 I am over 6’ tall and would spar smaller heavyweights in the amateurs but I did spar once with a legitimate over 230 lbs heavyweight . I was more experienced and out boxing him . But he backed me into a corner and threw a left hook which I blocked and got out of the corner. But even though I blocked the shot was still a little hurt and had that buzzing feeling in the neck.

I was able to hide being stunned and boxed well the rest of the spar . But made me realize once a guy is over 200 I can’t really handle their power .

And they punch just like lil' girls with their chins held high up in the air.

They know boxing from the outside. Inside the ring they don't know sheet.

                I 100% agree.

It took nearly 20 years but somebody finally understands what I mean when I say 'just another know nothin'.

Anybody can study boxing, but few ever step up to throw fists..................Rockin'

Mostly fat but he had some speed and power.
but i been in the ring with guys 6’3 and 230lb while i was 6’0 and 212 lb but i got a long reach 6’6 wingspan. The key is too get inside if the reach is too much.

Get low, under his jab , while jamming your right fist in to his ribs, follow up with hooks after.

Just slip it, get low and jam it in there. You gotta watch out for a right hand coming in after the jab, doe...........Rockin'

today i was sparring under boxing rules against this boxer who is 200 pounds and 6'3. Im about 165 and 5'11. Now under kickboxing I would murder him with kicks cuz he has no kicking skills, but we boxed and it was the hardest 3 rounds I've ever had in my life. I hit him alot in the body and caught him with some nice left hooks, but he was the one unloading on me, almost knocking me out twice in the third round. What is your advice for this kind of a fight? He has a real stiff jab that seemed to catch me flush whenever I tried to come inside with combinations. My only advantage was speed, in cutting the ring off to land shots and going inside and out quickly. But what do you guys suggest against this guy? He has a heck of a left jab and decent right cross. I know one thing is to duck the jab and come up with a cross to the head, which I tried in vain and got caught with a cross on my own jaw, but is there any other offensive and defensive maneuvers I could use? Please dont tell me that my strategy is to not fight this guy, cuz I know its a hard fight for me and my coach said I showed heart, so I dont care to take on tough guys, but I want to do better if I fight him next time. And lemme tell you, he had respect for me afterwards cuz we had a brawl, even though my punches glanced off his cheeks and he rocked me bad.
