Still doesn't get a125 pounder built into 140 cant give advice and call others low testosterone whos never even lifted more than 2 years....what a dope you are ,im pretty much reasdy to accept an invitation AT YOUR GYM( your MOMS place) to see how you show me my low level testosterone..........
You have been lifting for over 20 years. Focused on building muscle. If you can't get above 170 (you look fat af at that weight) then you have low test or some medical condition.

Or you don't know wtf you are talking about which is the most likely solution. Never take the advice of someone who thinks that Creatine in and of itself builds muscle.

No one who doesnt even touch weights should be giving advise in this thread period thats you l.I would also say the kid here (dago dope ) who looks like Gumby in REAL life would be the one exhibited LOW testosterone . He looks like someone threw him in a cellar and starved him for weeks which why he wont post his own pic . lol

Ive curled dumb bells that weigh almost as much as you with ONE hand and probably still can.....lol

Too bad you are BANNED on that other forum bc you're pure comedy there too ,the difference is you get totally battered on that one more than this one bc you dont know when to shut the F up and take the L .

Lifting weights shortens the muscle up. They should only be used if you absolutely can't bulk up by eating more and doing calisthenics. Even then, adding weights to calisthenics exercises is superior to just lifting weights.

Put a 45 lb plate on your back when doing push ups. Hang a plate between your legs on dips. Same with pull ups.

Lifting weights for legs is fine as long as you don't go crazy with it. I prefer Cleans and Power Cleans for my legs over squats. They're funner and harder too.
Why do you think that calisthenics is so different from lifting weights? They're both using your muscles against resistance through a range of motion. It doesn't matter if it's your body weight or a barbell. What's even more confounding is the fact you promote putting weights on your back when doing pushups as well.

Lifting weights doesn't shorten up muscles, that's just ridiculous. If you use full range of motion you actually increase flexibility if it was limited before.

Why would lifting weights be fine for legs but not upper body? Do you believe lifting weights effects your legs differently? That they somehow behave differently to muscles in your upper body?

The moron you are responding too doesnt lift weights hes the training troll on here .He makes his own reality up with some fill ins he reads on the net .lol

Lifting actual weights will give you better overall blance though bc your muscles are balancing dead weight and make you stronger than calisthenics . There have been tests done showing this .

If you put two same size guys the weight lifter is more likely to do better at the calisthenics work out than the calisthenics guy at weight lifting .Ive seen calisthenics guys lift solid objects (non weight room) they arnt as balanced or stronger .

Their good at balancing their own body ,not as much when they have to extend an adamant object bc the weight then isnt just limited to their comfort zone of knowing what their body resistance is ,it then becomes a new stress to them.

Foreman one of the hardest punchers of all time credited weights to helping him hit harder in his comeback yet Mr.bizzaro up top says upper body lifting is no good?!

Well than your going to be very butt hurt when you come back and see me there ,YOU the one who's ACTUALLY banned there ! Have you tried going to the gym yet so you one day can at least have a clue what your talking about on here?

Even at 43 and not heavy training yet this summer ,i'll do a year ban bet with you (dont want to see you permanently gone bc forums need their ******s too ).

I'll at least get to concentration curl a 100 pound dumb bell at least once in comparison to the 125 pnd twig you probably still are from August to september ? You also have to post a pic of YOURSELF so everyone can see what a fool looks like that tells people about supplements and weight lifting

I know full well how beneficial lifting weights is to boxing. Just today I started off my workout with bench pressing 225x22. I was just questioning him to pick his opinions apart.

Picking "******ity rising " apart isnt hard to do. Ask him why creatine doesn't build muscle or help an athlete .lol

Lifting weights does decrease muscle length. That's a physiological fact.

Calisthenics promote greater flexibility than lifting weights. Doing bent over rows or a bench press will not make you more flexible lmao.

There is nothing wrong with putting a weight on your back. Doing 25 push ups with a 45 lb plate on your back is superior to doing 90 push ups with no added weight. Builds greater strength.

In boxing, your legs don't go through as great of a range of motion as your upper body does.
