  • Non-stop punching.

What would the benefit (if any) be of punching non-stop for six-eight rounds?, no minute breaks even?. Punching at a slow steady pace and not focusing on power, would it help in developing punching endurance?

It would, but you might also burn yourself out for the rest of the day.

I did it today, non stop punching with no minute breaks for 10 rounds. I don't feel THAT tired honestly, i am used to not resting in between rounds anyways. My arms do feel sore though... i'll see how i feel tomorrow morning

I used to do that at the end of my workouts. Very good for conditioning the shoulders which are, imo, the most important muscle for boxing physically.

Well to be honest, if your not throwing them with technique, as in your chin down, swiveling your hips and throwing them straight out and bringing them straight back..and seeing if you can consistently do that...... in my opinion I honestly don't see the benefit in it but tired arms.

If you throw non stop for 30 secs or so at the end of each round that would be more beneficial I think.
