Braces mouthguard

I dont know if this is the right place to put this, but I'm getting braces on the top and bottom soon, can anyone recommend me a good mouthguard. Also do I need a double mouthguard?

I would ask in the gym. I knew a guy who got braces, but never needed anything special for his mouth.

just put your old mouthguard in hot water and then enlarge it with your fingers gently on the parts where you'll have braces. The idea is that the layer of the mouthguard won't touch your braces.

To be honest i just use any mouthguard, i don't have enough money to buy a custom one.
But i can tell you that getting hit with braces is the worst, last week i was hit without mouthguard on and i couldn't even eat until a couple of days ago.

I boxed with braces in the amateurs and i used a double sillicon mouthguard. If not my braces would cut up my inner (lower) lip.
