diet is critical, cut the alcohol out or limit it to 3 units a week (2 pints or 2 glasses of wine at a weekend)
no junk food, no fizzy drinks, water or if you must a little juice but dilute it with water
Organic meat/fish and vegetables at least 4 times a week for dinner - stay away from dressing and sauce
Training wise, 5Km of running a week, at a decent pace, you should be really sweating at the end of your 5KM
Standard boxing training at the gym at least twice a week, bag, pads drills etc
Finally, shadow box at home couple of times a week and do some good stretching at home, at least 20 minutes everyday, good quality deep stretching (not just grabbing your ankle behind you for a few secs)
(Politely) if that is your son, you are of an age where you are no longer made of rubber and magic so staying supple and loose is important
