What do I need to work on?

    diet is critical, cut the alcohol out or limit it to 3 units a week (2 pints or 2 glasses of wine at a weekend)

    no junk food, no fizzy drinks, water or if you must a little juice but dilute it with water

    Organic meat/fish and vegetables at least 4 times a week for dinner - stay away from dressing and sauce

    Training wise, 5Km of running a week, at a decent pace, you should be really sweating at the end of your 5KM

    Standard boxing training at the gym at least twice a week, bag, pads drills etc

    Finally, shadow box at home couple of times a week and do some good stretching at home, at least 20 minutes everyday, good quality deep stretching (not just grabbing your ankle behind you for a few secs)

    (Politely) if that is your son, you are of an age where you are no longer made of rubber and magic so staying supple and loose is important

      you should start seeing weight loss and then come back in a month/6 weeks and start upping the training, but as a starter that should sort you out

          Mass means nothing if you can't move your feet fast enough to get into position to close distance and connect with a decent punch

                This is what I normally eat every day.

                Breakfast
                Full English breakfast
                5 slices of toast with strawberry jam and cheddar cheese
                Bowl of frosties
                Glass of oj

                Brunch
                2 Bacon sandwiches
                Mars bar and a snickers bar
                Can of diet coke

                Lunch
                Burger and chips/fish and chips
                4 jam doughnuts
                Can of fanta

                Dinner
                Large meat feast pizza
                5 slices of garlic bread
                Small tub of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream
                3 choc chip muffins
                Can of coke
                Apple

                Snacks in between meals
                5 packets of crisps
                3 packets of salted peanuts
                1 packet of chocolate Digestive biscuits
                1 Battenburg log cake

                Alcohol I consume
                5 pints of Stella beer

                      First things first, it takes balls to post a pic like that on a forum to get pretty much roasted, that said... caloric intake, you should expend more energy than what you put in. Do it for your son if nothing else, he is still young and can correct his weight issue... and so can you, Godspeed.
