  • Footage of my first fight, feedback and tips for improvement appreciated!

Hey guys, I made my debut last Friday in front of a few hundred people and if you guys have some time to spare I'd love to hear your thoughts and also feedback on how I could improve for next time. Things I have found to work on so far are that rather than work my way in with footwork and angles I tend to just walk forward, also over reliant on that left hand which was ridiculously telegraphed. But it's all a learning process I guess

    P.s I'm the Southpaw and I fight at 126

Round 1: He came out aggressive and used a lot of energy
Round 2: I stepped up the aggression
Round 3: I felt like Neo from the Matrix

Its your first fight I wouldn't fret it none too much. Keep listening to your coach and keep showing up. A few things I would point out would be the lunging forward and the lazy jab, always want to make sure you pop your shots and you are very precise and sharp with them. Sometimes you don't have to have power behind your shots to keep someone at bay you just have to be sharp.

Cong**** on the win, can't start out any better then 1-0, something special about getting the first one behind you keep on working! Good luck.

Good work fam. But of advice is use your jab more and don't throw such wild swings, you came in a lil too wild and reckless and got caught. You done great when you got him against the ropes.

Nobody is perfect in their first few fights. There are always mistakes to correct and things to work on.
