I have three simple questions about boxing that I am looking for answers to so I can factor in that to my plans.
Question 1: Does anyone know any exclusive workouts to build mass and strength in you wrist, I could google this but I'm looking for methods used by experienced individuals. This is pretty important to me.
Question 2: I've said it before, I can train heavily for at least 5 hours without drinking water. I do it as a choice to maintain my core temperature when I work out, but what do boxer in the ring? I see them drinking some water but don't they have to piss. Or do they have too piss, and is this a ****ty situation to be in? What is the philosophy on when too much water during a match becomes too much, do you think they prefer to drink less to maintain core temperature and reduce bloating, or are they sweating it all out and burning it all off anyway?
Question 3: Almost 2 years ago when I went to a gym were I was training for the first time an old timer who was hanging around giving some of the younger guys advice on boxing told me I should train for one year before sparring. He never elaborated on that but I was already sparring and the way he said it I think he actually said I should wait one year before entering the ring in a amateur fight, he said I should train for one year if I want to make a career that will last, Do you agree with this?
How long should I wait?
