  • Gloves?

I am no pro, just a competent local level fighter so please don't **** on about winnings or grants or cleyto as I have more sense than money and know my level and am not trying to believe I'm something I'm not.

I'm looking to spend circa £90 on gloves

    Twins, Sandee or Ringside?

Please let me know if you have any and what you think, (I quite like a slender compact glove)

Title has some good gloves. Don't go with Everlast unless you are buying their expensive gear. Their cheaper (although it isn't really cheap) gloves are trash, all the padding is in the knuckles, no wrist support at all. A good quality glove will have good wrist support. Unfortunately, a good quality glove will be on the more expensive side.

If you plan on competing, buy the expensive glove. If you do it just for exercise and not competing then buy whatever you like.

If you live in the US get your hands on Sabas Boxing gloves.
They have been widely tested and reviewed on the Internet and it turned out they are not only on a similiar level as winnings, grants and cletos but also cost twice times less than these gloves.

You can get Sabas for 100$ on their website.
The Supersoft are more pillow-like like winning and
the other version is more like a semi-puncher gloves like grant.

Shipping to the UK would probably cost quite a lot I think but I am not too sure.

Other than that I am not really familiar with low price boxing gloves.
Check out Fit2Box on youtube he reviews a hell lot of boxing gear, maybe you will find something there.

Yeah fit2box is my go to and ive bought a few things from him (good shipping) if anyone wants to know.

Ive always used Twins and like them but recently ive used my sparring partners new Sandees and they are very nice and comfortable with excellent support, and i liked the balance of some ringside also. just seeing if anyone has some lasting experience other than a few swings on a bag with either

I bought some nearly new (they didn't smell!) Twins on ebay for £30 or so, I think they were £90 or so brand new. They are good quality.
