  • How to recover from tennis elbow?

I've got really achey elbows at the moment from repetitive use and strain but I can't stop training as I have a fight in 8 weeks, any advice to speed up or aid recovery? Thank you

If you need a quick fix then cortisone shots will do the trick.

Long term you need to rest and do stretches and forearm strengthening exercises.

Can take along time to overcome.

If you can afford it, platelet rich plasma injections can speed up recovery.

Rest, ice, heat and one of these things.

There's not much you can do besides that. Unless it's so bad it needs surgery.

eccentric exercise, as its essentially a tendonopathy. Tennis elbow will take a while to heal though, tendons dont get the blood supply that the muscle belly does. Heat/ice (personal preference) will help. Maybe friction massage too if you google how to do it yourself.
