    Took some time off training....

I have taken about two years off of training. Between work and the birth of my first child it took a back seat. My new years resolution is to get right back into shape. However I went and tore a ligament in my right shoulder.

Have to have a minor op in two weeks.

You guys have any advise on anything to make rehab and boxing training easier? I am right handed.

Just like Paulie the Magic Man Malignaggi (adopt his style, he fought without his unfortunately brittle right hand throughout his career).

Take it easy man.. you might want to stay off boxing or at least DO NOT use that right hand for several months for punching. I had the same injury and I would fail pain on my shoulder even after six months. I think it took one year to heal and allow me to throw punches with strength.

You can do a lot of things, run, HIIT, just I wouldn't advice to do boxing with that injury anytime soon.

Thanks man. Lots of people are telling me to do cardio and not to lose motivation. I just found that for me boxing training was one of the best full body workouts that worked the best for me. I know everybody is different. But yeah i guess it is going to take time. What did yuo do (when you were able to) to strengthen yoiur shoulder back up?
