What's this about not letting them spar 2 to 6 months? guys just ask each other to spar and get in the ring themselves and no one stops it unless it gets out of hand. If you're training boxing and are afraid to spar this ain't your sport lol..

Do you have any idea how much learning and practicing it takes to be a good amatuer competitor AK?
AK are you a competitive boxer?
What gym do you belong to?
Who is your trainer?
Ray
Of coarse I do but sparring is the biggest learning experience of the whole process I seen guys who look amazing on bags then take a shot and start panicking cause of lack of experience.

Didn't you learn how to defend a jab more than one way?
Didn't learn how to put combinations together before sessions?
Didn't you learn to block, slip and feint before sparring?
Didn't you learn how to step laterally and to pivot and to move your head and upper body?
Lil' Freddy fought in my Region One (New England) when he was a kid, I knew his older brother and family long before he was boxing.
Don't remember what gym he was from maybe Duke Lawson.
Theres no way you got to spar without putting time in the gym first. What does looking good on a bag have anything to do with what were talking about.
When I trained guys they had to put time in and were graded on how they developed over a few months. In my gym you EARN the right to spar you don't take you don't ask I'm in charge. If you can't take direction you can't become good and damn sure won't be great.
Now once again good night.

Hell even nobodies who came to a good gym can say they sparred pros when the pros get bored and for LOL's its fun to apply the craft on idiots. Also sparring pros at only 2 months into boxing doesnt say anything but A) you was a charity case, B) you gym is ran mainly for the $$$$$ and it focuses only on the top talents they have and the rest just dont break anything and pay up on time.

the goal is learn the craft, and in 2 months you havent even learned half of it. in 2 months you havent learned proper form yet, even if you have you havent learned how to side step, how to pivot, how to create angles, how to fient, how to roll, how to pull, how to catch and shoot, how to parry, how to set traps, etc etc lmfao you barely learned how to fire off combos on command let alone master thee craft in 2 months.
in 2 months if you in the ring it with another person your level or around their and you guys are practicing on ONE particular thing like the pull counter or some**** lol having a real sparring match with a pro 2 months in is ****** and the trainer is ******.
