..."void of proper techniques" happens when people try to teach boxing techniques to themselves. There is no way to learn without an experienced teacher who can teach and correct mistakes before they become habits. What a young man learns and repeats will be very difficult to "undue" (correct) if he learns improper form.

far off====you have a good idea of movement but you need to separate "movement" and punching with power! When delivering power both feet need to be on the floor. To be able to add weight to the punch. Understand?

Try to include more lateral movement. Everything you do is forwards or backwards. Only 'L-step' when you're well out of range so don't get into the habit of doing that. Practice moving THEN planting your feet and turning your hips into your punches. Other than that, good work.

Not really any pivot on any punches.

After you throw a combination quarter turn out or something. A lot of the time you just stand there for a second then throw another combination.

Use more head movement. When not moving your feet move your head and vice versa. You seem to take to using your feet for defense but it would only be beneficial to add in some head movement. Nothing drastic just add in a little ****e.

Until you start pivoting on your punches I can't really help you too much. You probably pivot when hitting the bag and sparring but for some reason you aren't in shadow boxing. Don't want to create the potential for bad habits.

Best personal boxing vid I have seen from anyone on here myself included.

Im not big on shadow boxing as a whole..its good but doesn't actually dictate what happens, its a warm up with no sequence to it .In martial arts theres ( katas) sequence moves for a purpose which does more muscle memory than random punches..

shadow boxing isn't bad and obviously your good at it,but its punching empty air with thinking whats coming not hitting a object or opponent.

your best asset is weight shifts /changing angles in stance. though actual bag or sparring work tells more ( that would be your partner and better measuring stick )....if you put a dancer who dances to music alone then throw them on a dance floor with actual ppl its different...

                  nevertheless good stuff.

Damn, you must be a wizard lol.

I indeed tend to not pivot really much during shadow boxing.
I do it on the bag when I have an actual target.
I think I just prioritize speed while shadow boxing, anyway I actually shadow box a lot so I really gotta look into not picking up bad habits from it.

                      Thanks for the feedback!
