I have broken in the padding of my gloves only after 4 times training boxing,everytime I punch now I feel my knuckles pierce through the leather. Is it time to change the gloves up?

I assume you're using wraps and wrapping properly. If not, that's the first thing you must do.

Some manufactures occassionally have a defect gloves that make it into the market. I
f your not comfortable with the performance of padding that you're getting out of the gloves contact the manufacture. Explain to them whats happened to your gloves and most likely they'll ship you a replacement.
