  • right arm Almost 100 % Last round of Sparring Session # 3 Game Bred Boxing Club video

I have the head gear on.....my stablemate raekwon has the yellow trunks on. He is a great fighter and I learn a lot from him. He is 19, been boxing since he was 12, one of the best at our gym. The last round makes or breaks a lot of fighters. Mental toughness gets you through the tough spots. Gotta remain focused. Im learning this daily.

sorry the quality sucks...cell phone camera, plus dim lighting

I love boxing bro, learning, and training others

one day, I will be a great trainer, instructor, and mentor.

we have fun, and troll time to time but many posters are living vicariously through the fighters, trainers do as well....I know getting in the ring will make me that much better a trainer, and your fighters respect you more when you can move around them. I work with the kids, and the green guys when my head trainer is tied up.

thanks bro.....im still learning, how'd you think I do?

thanks, coach J trains us up....Rae has a lot of experience on me, about 5-10 pounds...we also do 3 minute pro rounds.

when I have my first fight, I'll be more than ready for inexperienced guys like myself.

My introduction to the ring was waaaaaay back in 2005-2007.....don't feel like I'm doing to bad considering I've only trained 2 months, and last trained regularly 8-9 years ago lol

isn't it funny how the ones with the most to say, the most disrespectful towards fighters, never stepped foot in a gym or had a street fight a day in their lives.

Not bad... Pretty good lateral movement and a good jab up top. I think you should've used the jab to the body a lot more.

Out of curiosity, what do you do to work on your power?

most definitely....I noticed this after watching a few times....he'd change his set so much that I had to gauge If he was going to use the triangle(shoulder roll) or high guard....kinda have to throw it different, distance and the low left hand often blocks the stab jab

yea that stab jab will set up right hands up to and slow them pressing me

                  thank bro

I haven't really focused on power.....I actually have to learn how to pull punches, change speed, and not load up

my coach says im naturally heavy handed so, im working on flexibility, relaxed shoulders, and juding distance.

as far as power, heavy bag.....sitting on your shots....a drill we do is, one holds the bag, the other fighter hits the heavy bag pretty much 100 % in the same spot with the same punchfor 30 second a piece....alternate between jabs, rights, overhands, then add in 30 seconds doing left hook right hook none stop......whether it be double triple jabs, keeping your weight on the rear leg, a lot of it has to do with your stance and shifting body weight brings the power.
