So I've great footwork in regards to jumping rope (which is the answer everyone seems to give), but tying punches in whilst constantly moving and changing direction is another problem.
I have always been heavy footed and am always told to 'move! dont just stand there, MOVE!' when throwing punches and my style is thwarting me. I hold my hands up and am heavy footed - this results in me blinding myself with my guard and being a punching bag.
The footwork and technical movement is the #1 thing that has drawn me to boxing and I am willing to be an absolutely below average boxer that moves and dances and can throw punches from all angles (until I adjust) than a half decent slugger - like I said it is the movement that appeals to me.
So my question is how can I improve this? Attached is a video, Guillermo's footwork really impresses me, his movement and headwork is something I really find attractive.

I've also noticed Pacqiao is ALWAYS moving his feet when he punches, he is very rarely stagnant or immobile in one position (the clip where he has a red Tshirt shows this well)

Any suggestions?
