  • Whats the most effective style for me?

Im fast explosive in foot work, and hand speed.

    I hit hard.

I have limited skill but im a southpaw, im a natural right hander and I can switch hit, I have about equal power on both sides, but right side is more ambidextrous

Im not sure how well I take a punch, some massive guy hit me and I was wobbled, but ive taken massive trauma directly on teh chin and not been phased too. He hit me on the temple and I tensed up so I didnt go with the flow and he weight at least 260 id say 300 lbs he was big tall muscled and fat like a bouncer.

Im tallish 6 foot and 225lbs without being a fat **** im 190lbs

My endurance is questionable, im very athletic as in a fast sprint time but not sure how good my endurance is, dont think its bad but diont think its a strong point either

Post a video of yourself sparring or at least working the heavy bag. We have to see for ourselves. Your idea of speed, power, and a good chin could be different from what my idea of speed, power, and a good chin is.

You find your boxing style naturally

For example I wanted to be Mike Tyson in the first year of boxing and really tryharded. But thats not my style.
Dont try to copy a style or get told how to fight.

It takes time to develope a fighting style and it comes on its own.

Why such hostility? I was suggesting a way for us to give a more accurate analysis of which style is best for you.

Thats what I was thinking. What, you (alex) got offended because you felt DagoWop didn't believe you?

Lighten up man, you asked for advice and I think a video of you sparring is a great idea. Providing a video will get you accurate guidance on what style you should train.

You should adapt Super Macho Mans special punch. You wouldn't really need much more than that shot. Eat leather for a minute or two and then POW!!! Right in the kisser,,,,,,,,,,

Mate im 6-150 and what suits me best is being a slick/outside/sharpshooter boxer. I better stay off the ropes. You are 6-225/190, same height but much heavier. I don't know if it helps

alex............."I'm fast explosive in foot work, and hand speed. I hit hard!"

Don't forget your "vivid imagination"!!!! Have you considered getting juggy to train you? He has an extensive background in the sport, just ask him he'll tell you. The two of you should make an unbeatable pair...........of BS'ers

hahahahaha seriously what the hell happened to this place?
                    It's kinder garden for morons!

alex...."dont think its bad but diont think its a strong point either"

Well go find out and come back next month and discuss it in the Disney Section!
