    27lbs in 4 months??

    Hey!

Just want some opinions on what people think on having to drop 27lbs in 4 months?? Starting my Amateur boxing again and I'm currently 5ft 8 and weigh 192lbs. I want to box at 165 due to my height. I had my stats done at my gym and im 20% Body fat. I was 210lbs 5 weeks ago!! (A lot of weight lifting) How much training you guys reckon would suffice to lose the 27lbs before September? I've been out running 3-4 times a week (3 miles) and boxing 3 nights a week. And eating 2000 cals per day.

    Thanks in Advance

Feasible, but you're going to have to start training more. For that kind of wight loss, think about training 2x per day, 6 days a week.

        28lbs are 12,7kg.
1 kg of fat is 7500 calories

Therefore you need to burn 95,250 calories to lose 28lbs or 13kg.

Running 30 minutes burns 300 calories
A boxing training session burns around 400-600 calories

So would need 160 hours of running/ boxing exercise to lose 13kg /28lbs

If you train 3 times a week you will need 53 weeks.
        4 days= 40 weeks
        5 days = 32 weeks

Divide that by 2 if you take 500 calories less a day.

So when you train 5 days a week ( once a day) and cut 500 calories you need 16 weeks (4 months)

And with your training plan ( 1000 calorie deficite and 1200 calories from training )

        10000 calories deficite a week.

If you continue your diet and training you will need 9.5 weeks (2 months and 2 weeks)

In my opinion too drastic. Better go with 500 calorie deficite a day.
1000 is too few. Canīt give you enough energy for your hard training and is not healthy on your body.

        There you go

This guy knows what he's talking about. That kind of schedule with that much of a deficit would kill most people. Good luck balancing work, family and friends as well.
