    Pro Boxer Routine

Hey, does anyone know how much pro boxers train a day?
I know it varies if a fight is coming up and they are in camp but how long do they train and if you also know what do they do.

I have been in a muay thai gym in thailand once (Banchamek Gym) and they followed this routine:

6 days training, 1 day rest
Morning run through ****kok about 1-1:30h
After that about 1:30-2:00 hours boxing (muay thai) including kicks and punches on the heavybag, muay thai clinching, pads, sparring

Then 6 hours rest and again 30-45 mins running
After that 1:30-2 h boxing. Pretty much the same but with strength training

I know muay thai is not boxing but are these routines similar to pro boxers?

Nobody does it the same. Ask some coaches who work with pro fighters.

It varies from fighter to fighter trainer to trainer.

If you are just starting or intermediate dont try and imitate a pro. They are at what is called the "attenuation phase" of their skill and physical development.
