    extreme body itchiness when running?

This morning I went for a run. I had initially planned to run 5 miles, but was forced to stop before the first mile due to an extremely itchy sensation all over my body. Most notably around the abdomen, sides, lower back, inside thighs, and ass cheeks. It was horrible. No hives or bumps, just an itchy sensation.

It was my first run in quite some time as I have been sidelined for a few months due to a calf injury. I remember it used to happen to me in middle school during P.E. but aside from that I don't recall having it. I'm not overweight but I'm not in my best shape either. That's why I want to get back into my normal routine of running

What could have caused this? Have you experienced this before?

Possibly poor circulation. I get something similar if I've been sedentary for a while. I'd ease back into it and if it doesn't steadily go away, look into it further.

Interesting... It was so intense that it killed my entire workout. I had to walk back home cause it was so bad lol...

I'm gonna lather myself up with aloe vera gel and moisturizer next time out and report back with my findings. Maybe throw on some baby powder too.

I know it's supposed to go away as you build back up your stamina but I hate easing into things when I know what I'm capable of. I guess I gotta be patient.

Are you taking any pre-workout formulas?

Hopefully you are not allergic to anything in your smoothie. My face gets red and itchy after eating strawberries... But anyways man, sounds strange, hopefully you figure it out soon.
