    That's not that I was saying though. I wouldn't recommend someone watch Mayweather as a general example of striking power or how to approach the bag. Rather, that specific example of one particular KO punch is what I was referring to. If someone wants examples of fighters who have popping type punches in general; Tommy Hearns is possibly the finest example ever. That incredible combination of speed + power comes from applying muscle at the moment of impact (along with fine technique). ODLH gets an honorable mention.
