Yeah I did like it and I think it definitely had some very strong benefits. Crazy recovery time, great endurance and a certain practical strength that you just can't get any other way. It's a really tough thing to get for any decent length of time and ten minutes with the Dumbbells took serious time and a lot of crazy effort.

I've heard on the g****vine of people who say they've done an hour, but never seen anyone actually do a proper one that long. You'd basically have to train for years focusing just on that one goal. Frankly, not sure I believe people who say that.

      Oh they can....

Are you really gonna sit down and watch a guy do horse stance for an hour? Lol. Some of those shaolin type training guys..that's all they do. They get to a point of mental mastery where they can't even feel pain. A good observable example of this phenomena is the Tibetan monk who doused himself in gasoline, lit himself on fire, and meditated quietly until his body gave up the ghost. There's a youtube video of it somewhere....

Sorry, I should have clarified that statement. I dont believe many people (of course there might be some exceptions) in the west that say they can do it for an hour. Monks etc and dudes in china that have trained it since they were wee little tackers, I dont doubt they that can do it, but very rarely over here.

Hi, I have read and learned that flexibility is very important to be a well rounded boxer. One should be needing some flexibility exercises like stretching to improve in boxing. By the way, agility and mobility are also needed.

Thanks a lot for the replies everyone! Horse Stance seems like fun, and it's something I can easily do at home, but I'll also start jogging and work on my flexibility.

it's god given talent. none of that bullshyt like doing 1000 squats or whatever will still give you that unless you're genetically made that way. sure you can improve your strength or whatever or have some muscles here and there but it's just the way some humans are made.
