which body "spots" to hit to KO someone?

I saw a book that had this topic but not sure I should read an entire book about the subject.

I know not just swinging wildly is the answer, there had to be the "sweet spot" that can KO someone with scientific backing.

I was told by a trainer once that aiming a punch to the chest of opponents usually will hit their chin. In other words, throw a punch to the chest, it'll land to the chin. Could KO someone out.

I guess the temple is one of them, too?

The liver, of course. A lot of folks aren't quite educated on the reasoning behind this. This body blow can result in an instant knockout. Reason? The liver is a vital organ much like the brain (well, for most of us anyway). Any harm done to it the brain will attempt to shut down, basically in an attempt to tell you "whatever you're doing, stop it now". That's why you can eat those right hooks to the body like candy all day; your spleen can handle it. Liver? You're gonna need that shiet. A lot of people in boxing make the most of this by driving upward with that hook to the body; it'll squish the liver in between the more firm structure of the diaphragm. Like squashing a g****. Not to say you won't get results with a more lateral trajectory.

Of course the temple. The bone there is very thin, making it harder for that portion of the skull to absorb shock/impact; In turn making it easier to damage the brain. There's also a major artery that runs beneath it.

      Basically:

Temple, liver, chin, solar plexus and the nerves on the biceps.

Ofc the nerves on the biceps are not really what you should aim for
but they hurt and numb your opponents arm, trust me.

never seen anyone get punched on the biceps. I know it weakens their punches for sure.

The liver shot is by far the most painful. It's the type of pain where you want to escape your body and nothing exists except that pain. I'll never forget that. Still makes me squirm to this day just thinking about it.

Anyway, as already mentioned, the point of the chin and temple are the best head spots and the liver and solar plexus are the best body spots.

As BG mentioned, it's better to rip more like an uppercut as the liver is best gotten to more front on. Not to say you can't get to it from the side or do damage there too, but it's closest to the surface sort of below the nipple, rather than under the armpit for instance. Keeps it shorter, more compact and gets more body torque into it anyway.
