Have any of you guys purchased the training sessions cd from the Confusing the Enemy website?

They look interesting but are expensive, plus I am wondering if they contain the exact same material that is already available for free on YouTube:

I dont but its likely gonna be Cus D'amato shouting Numbers for the Willie Bag training and more stuff.

Well, you are right about that. If it's jus Cus calling out the numbers then it's not worth it.

I was curious to see if maybe there was more though. It says there is a Training Exercise 1, a Training Exercise 2, and so on.

Judging by the time stamps the YouTube video with D'Amato shouting the numbers might be the same as Training Exercise 6.

I could Imagine Cus talking about Boxing and maybe the science of boxing.

But still I would rather just buy his book than paying 100$ for a CD.

I was looking at this a month or two ago and was curious as well. I feel like the content is pretty ambiguous, and $112 for not knowing truly what you're getting is ridiculous. Lol.

Yeah, I'm with you.

Potentially it would be worth it for me IF it contains a structured set of drills that Cus planned out. But if it's just an explanation of the number system with him calling out the combinations then it's not enough for that price. I would need someone else to take the plunge first and give a review before I buy.

The D'Amato method is actually pretty technical with things like "the twist" and "the spring" that can be really useful for a boxer:

I came across another guy selling peekaboo instructional cd's if anyone is interested. His name is Jim Mongey and he says he trained at the Catskills gym during the late '70s when Cus, Teddy Atlas, and Kevin Rooney were there.

Expensive as hell, though.

Ah man, still too expensive. I understand they're trying to make money off their knowledge and expertise, but I feel like half the time this **** isn't, like, groundbreaking.

Regardless though, some of it is very useful. I always recommend folks the Russ Anber videos and some of the Title series, they are much more cost efficient as well as with more content.

But, there is something enticing about acquiring anything of Cus D'Amato. if you ever pull the trigger on these, let us know if it's worthy mang.
