The less body fat you have, the higher the performance.

    http://www.builtlean.com/2012/03/07/how-to-run-faster/

"For a 170 lb. athlete, a fat gain of 3.4 lbs. (2%), could result in a vertical jump height loss of 2”, and a 40 yard dash time increase of 0.26 seconds. If you are not familiar with the 40 yard dash, 0.26 seconds is an eternity. This is the same sprint test all NFL football players must do at the NFL Combine, which tests the athletic ability of all the athletes before entering the league. A 0.1 second difference can mean millions of dollars."

Sumo is an exception. It was traditionally short fat guys getting fatter to make it more difficult for the opponent. It is not really a sport dealing with performing better. As for the general sports like boxing, less fat means higher performance particularly in terms of footwork (which I consider the most important thing in boxing) I suppose.

James Toney, Chris Arreola, David Tua, and Tony Galento are/were fighters with a high body fat percentage. That were good.

Quit worrying about Bodyfat. Worry about getting fit some some others have told you.

Once you get fit, the fat goes away or get used in the body.

Plus you ain't gonna do any amateur or pro fighting so it won't matter anyways, even in real life situation.

To even do 10 rounds you need to get that cardio/condition, spar and get hit to build up endurance.

Plus you keep posting similar post after another..

I will start getting fit after I am done dropping the fat. I am still maintaining the minimum muscles (like, did 50 calf raises, 50 squats, 50 sit ups, 50 reverse back ups, 50 neck ups, stretching, 25 dips, 20 dips afterward, 10 pull ups, 2 finger push ups today, 25 is the max number of dips I can do right now). Just not as much as you guys (most boxers in shapes) in the middle of starving (eating 1 meal per day).

My posts are similar because my interests are skewed. They are different topics though. It's like talking about different horror films on a movie forum cause I am interested in that genre.

You sure don't look weak. Anyway, that's cause of dropping the weight. If you eat healthy & get used to nutritious input for the body while maintaining that low body fat level, you would probably feel strong. I used to feel weak at 62kg, but I feel stronger now (dropped to 60kg then gained 2kg of fat). Gonna drop to 55kg now then gain 2kg of fat while eating healthy to feel strong. All calculated.
