i saw the sample vid of pac throwing a jab to the body. thats not a good example of an effective jab to the body. watch ward or mayweather jab. When you throw your jab, you have to bend your knees and stay low. When he is in the peek a boo defense, stiff jab to the body, when his guards up and moving forward slowly, stiff jab to the body. Paw the jab, feint one up top, and boom another.

remember, after throwing, you should always have an angle or be at an angle where his counters wouldn't reach you on time.

If he's fast enough then he won't get countered or he will follow up with something upstairs. It's rare that you will get an easy chance like that on a skilled opponent.

Well, aside from "me", I showed a real example with a video of someone doing a body jab. When your waist is bending over like that, hard to do much. I am personally against it when you are shorter. It just seems like an unnecessary risk. You do not "have to" use a jab to the body. Yet, it seems like an unnecessary risk with balance & weight.

Melankomas allegedly never threw a single punch and went undefeated, which just goes to show you don't have to throw anything at all. Minimum effort, just how you like it.
