How much sit ups & push ups should a featherweight do?

    No...I have 2 people saying that I don't have to do 1000, so gonna go with those numbers. Doing 1000 is way beyond sufficiency (I am looking for the minimum numbers, not some physique way beyond what I need or use). It's not like someone who can do 100 push ups need more than 1 clean heavy blow while someone who can do 1000 push ups need 0.5 clean heavy blow to knock someone out or to last 10 rounds. I don't think I will ever reach that kind of physique with TV or not. For cardio, 45 minutes, maybe. Muscle works? Even with TV, not going to aim 1000. I am not looking to be a pro-wrestler nor heavyweight boxer. Featherweight is from 55.3kg to 57.2kg. My height is 172cm 5'7''. There is the bone weight, then I just have the room for the "minimum muscle weight" anyway. The room is made by dropping down on the fat. So, basically, my questions can be reworded into "how much fat should I drop" or "how much weight should I lose" to have enough weight room to put on the minimum muscles. 61.2kg right now.

      I'm a featherweight too. The physique will come through dropping body fat below 10% and just doing boxing training in general. How many boxers do you know that look like **** at featherweight? Little to none. From what you have said thus far, I can tell you're a little impatient with results so you'll have to learn to get over it and just keep training. By 6 months I guarantee you'll see at least SOME results.

        Yeah, I just wanted to know beforehand (before I reach such physique) when I would be able to last 10 rounds. By the way, I am supposed to be in featherweight for my height, but I am not there yet. Overweight for the athletic weight. 61.2kg. Supposed to be below 57kg for featherweight.

          It all depends on how you progress. If you train for 10 rounds sooner or later you will be able to. Just put in your work through shadow boxing, bag work, sparring, and mitts you will gain stamina.

            That would a good goal, of course you're not gonna be able to do 1000 sit ups the first day, but you should working your way up, so your body can get used to it. I would love to do a 1000, but its gonna take me some time!

            But you want to do it with proper form also, so that way the proper muscle is engaged and working.

              I know I would reach eventually. I just wanted to know beforehand (before I reach such physique) when I would be able to last 10 rounds by asking the people who have already been there.

                No, I am going to stick with the minimum physique for 10 rounds. I really don't want to be doing 1000 sit ups when I shouldn't have to. Plus, if I build up that much extra muscles, I have to drop the fat weight by that muscle weight, which is really difficult. I like 6.9% fat percentage.

                    Well, not everyone can do 50 sit ups, 50 push ups, 50 squats or 15 minute jump rope. So, I am somewhat in shape already. Also, after I am done with weight loss, I will reach the minimum numbers anyway including 75 push ups. For a hardcore boxer, what I aim is nowhere in good shape, but as a regular person like me who is not into pro boxing at all (even if I do pro boxing, I just want the regular average level, not champion), those numbers are right for me.

                      75 push ups isn't "hardcore" by any means, I can do 90 push ups non stop for 3 sets but I don't have a ripped physique at all, in fact I have a rather skinny physique.

                      You don't just box for a couple months then get ripped, it takes years. All the boxers you have seen on TV I can guarantee have been boxing for at least 5-10 years. Some for over 30 like Mayweather.
