    foam roller......do you use one?

and if so, how the F are you supposed to use it?

almost everyone says these things are a god send, but there are articles about how it can be dangerous if you roll certain parts of the body.

then there are some saying you should roll your lower back if you're dealing with lower back pain, and others claiming to never roll your lower back..

    im confused.

When I boxed and I use to do 2-3 hour workouts, I Wouod use the foam roller when I was done.

To use it you just roll whatever body part back and forth on it that is sore or tight.

It basically loosens up the muscle and spreads out the acidic buildup.

I've never heard of any dangers of not using it for certain body parts.

I use to focus mostly on my legs and back.

Hurts so good. But gotta use a firm one not those bullshlt cheap foam ones. I have a trigger point one it def makes you feel better. Mostly use it for legs and occasionally back but prod shouldn't lol

Helped relieve sciatica from running, which is a big deal. There's a million foam roller vids on YouTube, you can use them in a lot of ways.

I run a lot so I thought it would be a good idea to get one, but over time I started using it for my back. It's a great thing to have, but I can easily see why people hurt their back trying to use one. If you do use one for your back make sure to start slow and be patient until you figure out what's comfortable for you. Also getting a nice massage once or twice a month is life changing. Try it sometimes you well not regret it

Yes, I use it - and it has increased my mobility a lot. Especially in the ankles - which is good for my deadlift and squatting :-)

I also use lacross ball - it can really hurt.

I went to a mobilty class to learn it - and just went to youtube for videos.
