  • What are the top 5 ways to loose fat?

    In order of most effective 1-5

    Im guessing

    1) Diet, a clean diet vs a junk diet, the more clean it is the less calories and the less fattening it is. This boils down to discipline I suppose.

    2) Weightlifting with compound lifts like the squat. It burns lots of calories and builds lots of muscle, the extra mucle increases your metabolic rate which means you burn more calories even when you are just sitting around

    3) HIT Running - burns more caleries than long distance especially in terms of time, also builds a little muscle which increases metabolic rate and in turn caleries

    4) Long distance running cardio, burns lots of caleries and burns fat directly if you run for long enough

    5) The atkins diet, uses fat as a fuel source, its a dumb idea imo because it leads to yo yo dieting but based purely on its fat loss effectivness I rate it at 5

    These are my guesses, ive never had a problem with getting fat but Im starting too, need some good tips, esp for someone who has low will power when it comes to yummy yummy junk foodz!!! :P

    In terms of training...

    HIIT training is the absolute best, and sprinting is the absolute best exercise to do it with.

    Almost as good results can be achieved by lifting weights, combined with longer distance cardio.

    You can combine HIIT with weightlifting for probably the ultimate experience OR do 2 or 3 different HIIT exercises such as running + heavy bag.

    Long distance running or long duration aerobix exercise in general is definitely the least effective (aside from spot training individual muscle groups of course which does not produce a systemic effect).

    In terms of diet, that's a difficult one to answer....

    In order to produce SAFE fat loss compared to UNHEALTHY or dangerous weight loss might require different strategies...

    Producing purely "fat" loss as opposed to overall weight loss might require different strategies.

    And most importantly...

    Dieting strategies which lead to rapid weight loss but lower metabolism thus eventuating in a yoyo effect and health problems are significantly different than dieting strategies which "MAY" yield slower fat losses but raise metabolism thus facilitating a lean body composition for much longer in the absence of exercise and/or in periods of an unrestricted diet.

            If your only goal is fat loss, this is the best method I've come across.

            It's not easy, and you'll have to really cut your workouts down, but you'll shed weight like crazy.

            I've been doing this for 2 years now when cutting with, right around when I'm around 13-15%. It's pretty tough to get through, but of your an experienced weight lifter, the results are crazy.

              Speaking of weight loss and being unconcerned about ones health, which obviously isn't the focus here but interestingly anyway...

              There is a way that many celebs use to shed the lbs for decades which is still tried and proven..

              Laxatives lol

                really?

                wat about prune juice?
                seems a little less harsh on the gut

                Apparently it doesnt work the calories still get absorbed on top of that it your guts can stop working properly if u abus laxatives, dumb idea even if it works which apparently it doesn't
