    Winning Gloves - Rip off?

They are considered one of/the best training and sparring gloves because of their durability and padding. I understand but is paying £225 for these gloves worth it? I was going to pick them up today and then I thought... maybe it's a bit overpriced although they look so good.

Let me know how much you would be willing to spend on these Winning Gloves?

winning gloves are 100% worth spending the extra money. They will last forever and will help prevent hand injuries

Definitely not a rip off, but I would not recommend them unless you have the money to spend, or are a pro.

They are the best training gloves in the game, but not necessary if you just workout once in a while or even are an amateur boxer.

Definitely worth it if you have the money to get them, but like Cuah said unless you're in a gym a lot or plan on going pro it will kind of be a waste

Are they the best training gloves? Yep. Are they worth the money? Depends. If you have hand problems... Certainly. If not, no. Im
Not recommending you get a bad pair that last only 6 months, but for the money there are gloves like Reyes that last a long time, very good quality gloves and cost half the price.

If you're starting out then you may not even end up fighting or be serious about it and even if you're an amateur unless you're a standout I wouldn't want to spend that much on gloves. I spent around $ 89 ish after everything on Rival and I think that's good enough.

I only use Winning now but I'll tell you not to buy them unless you need them. There are plenty of great gloves out there for much less money. However, Winning has an orthopedic aspect. I've got huge hands with relatively thin bone structure and throw harder than my hands can handle . Even 16oz Grants don't protect me well enough but Winnings keep me from wrecking my hands. So, for me they're worth twice their cost. However, to a guy who does fine in $60 Ringsides, Winning would be a waste of money. They aren't going to make you box better unless you need the extra protection.

Also, don't buy them because they look good. Gloves get dirty quick.
