Is it as easy to hit the liver on someone left side as it is to the right?

hence why the left hook to the body will hit someone's liver.

I meant "left" hook*, you punch to YOUR left. I should have phrased it better. I'm a biomed student so I'm well aware of the whereabouts of one of the most important organs in the body

that's one of the reasons that body shots with the right hand are rarely thrown. it's also telegraphed, and easy to counter.

You also throw the left hook in an upward angle to push it in the direction against the rib cage. Debilitating if you land it correctly, look at Ortiz's face:
