Tons of Head and bob & weave movement

Counter when the taller guy is retracting his arms since it takes longer for him to recover

Find the ideal "sweet spot" close to him where you can get off easily, but he's forced to take a back step or side step to get off due to his longer arm length

There are various things you can do. For example

        1) Control distance, stay out of range & pot shot with an exit plan. Watch Mayweather v Corrales... like that. Counter the jab with single shots too to make your opponent cautious to throw the jab and set other punches up. If you take away his jab, you're half way there. You want to hit and move as quickly as possible.

        2) Get on the inside and ****. He can't use his jab effectively and throw effective straight shots. Keep your chin down, roll, duck, slip BUT do not get so close that you smother your punches and you get tied up. Maybe dig on the inside, step back and then go straight back in, like Pacquiao usually does.

Ultimately, the main goal is to take away the longer fighters main strength. His jab!

That bob and weave **** gets Tiring pretty quickly.

All these guys saying bob and weave don't realize mike had really long arms.

I'd suggest working behind the jab. Jab your way in and jab your way out. If u don't outjab a taller opponent your going to have a real hard time.

Thanks for the advices people My new partner and i are same weight but have a 5 inch height diffrence. I don't know why but whoever that longer than me is seems to be faster than me. Anyway , when we spar with my new partner , my only working gameplay against him is countering his jabs but i can't hit his face only hit towards his stomach etc. Wish i had a long arms If you have anymore advices , i'm open. Have a good day

Just be smart! Set traps. if you convince him to throw the straight right hand, you can slip to your left and **** his body then move away. you should me to reach his body if he commits to the right hand. If
You have to, step in when you slip to close the distance a bit. Those body shots will slow his punches down and make them easier to counter, bespecially the jab. Keep practicing the counters though, it takes countless hours to master!

Be smart & think bro, that's the best advice I have for you!

Following from what I said, go to 5:32 and watch the knockdown. This is exactly what I meant. Roberto threw an overhand right but the counter works for the straight right too.

Look at the way Floyd convinces him to throw the right but dropping his left hand but keeping his right hand up to parry the jab. Floyd pulls from the punch but a shorter guy should slip to the left.

Watch some prime Ricky Hatton vids, he had incredibly short arms, but knew how to get inside quickly and stay there.

                    Hattons footwork was really underrated.

Also learn to jab while moving left and right. I don't care how good your opponent is, if you can move and jab youll just do fine.
