    Dropped with a body shot

So I was at the gym this morning, sparring, and finally got caught in the solar plexus. Before I knew it I crumpled to the ground, wheezing hard and loud, all eyes on me because even to me it sounded like I was dying. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't breathe. Anyways, got up and did another round but as I'm sitting here on the couch I'm still hurting.

These are those times I ask myself "Why do I even bother boxing?" Strange addiction.

Lol don't worry it happens. Keep practicing and you'll get better and you'll know you are as you won't be getting hit by that shot again. Boxing is good for fitness, discipline, stress relief and so on even if you don't compete. have fun boxing and remember, keep those hands up.

I've felt that too bruh, re-enactment below:

Though never been hit hard in the kidney before, I wonder what that feels like but at the same time I don't want the first hand experience..! Anyone wanna clue me in?

Very accurate representation I've been caught in the kidney a few times since I only wear a cup for sparring instead of the jock/hip protector thing. I can't say it feels too different than being hit anywhere else in the body. Same jolt of paint shoots through your body only from a bit lower, never been knocked down yet from a body shot though, besides today.
