    I'm pretty sure it has more advantages than bodybuildin' by the way , give it a try but i think there is nothing better than speed bag and heavy bag for boxing.

      Strength increase for certain.

      The rest depends on whatever they have you doing, but I'm pretty sure there's some bodybuilding type shyt involved. Compound lifts can be good for boxing, but don't overdo it. Make sure you stay flexible.

        I did Crossfit 4x a week mixed in with boxing 3x a week. Makes you a bit stronger on the punches, and can take away some* of your road work duties, but I wouldn't rely on it too much, as you will gain a bit of muscle and make you heavier.

          It cant hurt in my opinion.....

          Lifting those weights make all the muscle work together... In boxing a lot of boxers get injuries due to access strain on one side of the body... Like just boxing in stance it will give muscular imbalances.

          Here some videos that might help you that i made... Crossfit type stuff but you can do in a boxing gym
