    Is there any boxers that follow an Olympic lifting strength training program? It seems all the boxers that lift are doing bodybuilding style lifts.

    This is Vencelas Dabaya front squatting 200KG. He competed at 69KG bodyweight.



    You can get seriously strong without building huge bulk from Olympic Lifting which to me seems to be more suited to boxing that traditional bodybuilding style training.

        Probably eats a lot of fish. Those folks are known for that type of diet, into all that gourmet salted fish.

        Reminds me, I was going to tell someone in Training and Nutrition about anchovies and inflammation, they help. One of the things I daily eat is a can of sardines and anchovies, and I put the anchovies in water first to let them get the salt off a bit. Eating them after being devoid of salt is delicious. You have the option of gulping them down or nibbling them, I pull em out with a fork. Mitochontrias in our bodies better utilize these types of oils, the energy production is better if you eat the fish daily

          Omega 3 from the sea contains DHA and EPA aplenty. Omega 3 from plants is devoid of these. While eating fish caps is better than nothing, pure sources are what you want. The tiny fish contain micronutrients. Nuts are important, too. I have a great nut article I'd like to share with the forum. I eat macadamias, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts. Those damn macadamias are so good.

            I tried the fish diet once. Did nothing for me. Some creatiene an andro did the trick tough.
