its not about any one style that beats another. its about individual fighters having certain strengths and flaws which are more valuable or detrimental depending on their opposition.
take a fighter for example a who is an offensive machine in the early rounds (A). great speed, power, accuracy, timing etc but he has **** stamina. against a slow starter with a shaky chin (B), he should have a field day. but against a durable guy with good defense he might be exposed down the stretch.
that same durable guy with good defense might not have any real one punch KO power or the offensive arsenal to get rid of B early on. instead he is the one who gets out boxed down the stretch because despite being a slow starter and a bit shinny fighter B is a tremendous technician.
most fighters have a weakness stylistically, its not so much their style as a whole though. could be as simple as a single technical flaw like being vulnerable to a certain punch that happens to be another fighters best shot. over committing making you vulnerable to a counter puncher, having a hard time fighting at a high pace and leading you to struggle with someone relentless who likes to crank it up.
