  • best boxing gloves that dont need hand wraps

specifically for punching bag.. I'm lazy and don't want to be putting hand wraps.. plus I "train" intermittently.. like i would punch the bag for 10 mins and then go watch tv or whatever then go back punching the bag again..
i don't have time putting and removing hand wraps..

I would just get some normal bag gloves (not the ****** thumb cut-out ones). Preference of bag glove can be drastically different from person to person due everyone's anatomy being a bit different.

I personally love the Rival RB1's. I've had them for 6-7 years and they're STILL going strong. It's unbelievable how durable they've been. And I get an incredible amount of pop with my shots, I love it.

The Title Blacks are pretty good as well, I think the material on the inside works really well for just throwing them on and hitting the bag a bit. Very low chance of tearing and shearing your knuckles.

No such thing..hand wraps are crucial. The wraps hold you hand together...without them your hand expands in a way that will cause permanent injury. Don't be ******.

        Truth!
The bones in your hands are among the most fragile bones in your body. Proper care and preparation is a must.

I recommend that you start doing your pushups on your knuckles, to strengthen the muscles around those fragile bones.

If you hit the bag with no wraps expect injuries, in the hand you will feel these injuries daily for the rest of your life.

I'm curious of your views on knuckle push-ups rockin. I do them more than regular ones nowadays and found my punching power has increased a little. What's your take on this?

I would say that the power comes from building the muscles that are used while doing the pushups on your knuckles. The muscles used to do the pushups are nearly identical to the muscles used when punching (assuming that you do the pushups with your elbows in).

I'm not sure that it could be measured but a strongly built fist/stolid fist would have to deliver a more solid blow.

In bareknuckle the strong fist would mean a whole bunch, but once you properly wrap a hand you will not get much more solid than that.
Unless your name happens to be Margorito.

You're eventually going to hurt something, sooner or later, hitting the bags without wraps........

Whoa wait a minute. Are you telling me I CAN'T use loaded wraps for sparring? **** I've being doing it wrong!

But yeah, I noticed that my back muscles and my shoulders get a good workout from knuckle pushups.

Your back and shoulders are important in the power generated.

And if you've been at a gym for over a year and your trainer hasn't tried to slip a horse shoe or brick in to your gloves for a few good rounds than you should leave him, he don't know no boxing.
