  • Any vegan fighters out there?

Are there any vegans on this forum? Care to share your diet and stats? I feel like I'm not getting enough protein after training. I mean I can only eat so many beans and nuts...

    Turn vegetarian and eat eggs

    Broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms

Lentils, chickpeas in moderation as they are pro-estrogen

Quinoa is a good 'grain' source to add to your meals.

Green vegetables such as spinach and kale have good levels.

Sprouted grain bread with almond or cashew butter packs quite a bit of protein.

I know that some aren't keen on it but I often have scrambled tofu as a breakfast.

If I'm training I'll have a post workout shake that contains hemp protein. There are also alternatives such as pea or brown rice protein.

I noticed a few days ago that there are now quite a few books aimed at vegan athletes on Amazon. It may well be worth trying a few of those.
