I was eyeing the Chicago gloves the week of the 22nd.

But I was sick for a week so it looks like the Indy Golden Gloves would be a better fight being in April.

there is no licence required for golden gloves as far as i know, not in my country anyway

Well there is in the U.S you need to be a registered member of USA Boxing which sanctions the Gloves.

Hey I had my first fight on friday and it was a golden gloves :P sadly I lost tho was kicking some ass then tripped over my oponent and the ref called it as a down and I couldn't get the points back but eh stuff happenes

Ya you do, they call is a "Fight Passport" in Canada but its essentially the same thing as a pro licsense.....helps them keep track of your fights yada yada yada, renewable every january, 120 bucks here in Canada.
