That sucks you don't have a gym in the area.

As for your bag punching video I'm not a coach, but I can see there are a lot of small body mechanics issues that someone would need to show you in person to fix your footwork and punches.

You obviously need proper face to face coaching to learn anything so I don't think you've come to the right place for general advice. If you ask specific questions in this forum people will try their best to answer, but your top priority now is getting into a gym. Good luck.

Find an experienced trainer! There may be one near you don't need a gym to get going but you need guidance or you will be developing bad habits that will be hard to correct as time moves on.

I'm a retired trainer who was in the business for 50 years, you need a mentor!
No one learns boxing on their own, no one!
      Ray.

call your states licensing board for athletic events and try to find a boxing promoter. Any promoter will know of a trainer in your area, if there is one!
      good luck..

Thank I appreciate you taking time to watch my video. I know my footwork in the video doest do me justice, I was dead tired and just wanted to post something, I'm going to post a new video of me when I'm not tired and focused. I will find a promoter and see if there is someone that can help. That video didn't do me justice like I said but I will post a better just wanted something to post. Do you think I have any potential at all? I feel with coaching I can be pretty damn good what do you think.

You look very basic in what you are doing, like Ray said, you need to go find a gym and a trainer asap.Bad habits will be hard to get out of if you keep doing this by yourself. You need to learn how to punch correctly as you don't seem to be turning on your back foot properly and your not turning your punches over either, whip your hips into the punch as well.Don't stand to square on either,it creates a bigger target and leaves yourself wide open, tuck that chin in too.

No problem young man, remember head movement, change tempo in your shots set different rythms.Throw in the odd feint and always be first to the punch.

If you're being deadly serious about this i would suggest you move if you can't find a local trainer.
