training for an 8 minute figh.t

    Hypothetical question to coach's.

You have a 21 year old male, he is reasonably fit, done some boxing training and sparring in the past but never had a fight, he has a 4 x 2 minute round fight against an opponent who is of the same level in 9 weeks time.

How would you arrange his training regime, he has 2 hours per evening to train, 7 days per week.

He will be fighting at 160lbs and his opponent is 162lbs.

Both have some training experience and sparring but never had a bout.

Run hills and sprints along with 2-3 mile jog's,spar 4 minute rounds so you have double the stamina...and eat clean along with the other gym training, jump rope, heavy and speed bag..etc etc..and if you hit the weights lift for explosion
