Any advice for nervousness before sparring when you're experienced with multiple fights and over 500+ rounds of sparring? Still can't shake extreme anxiety before boxing.
It's interesting that soneobe so experienced can still be so nervous. I haven't been carded yet but when I spar I'm not as anxious now because I just think about focusing on certain things during sparring. I just feel that sparring is for learning and that makes it fun instead of scary.

Thanks guys
I call BS. Nervousness let alone crippling nervousness should have been long gone based on your experience. That's impossible.
I get pretty nervous if I'm sparring somebody new (and good) or if I haven't sparred in a while. However, once it begins it all goes away, does that happen to you as well?
There's a word for it, in Japanese, I forget it, basically translates to "Warrior shakes"- the feeling even experience samurai get before battle. I'm not that experience, 2 years, just won my first amateur fight, but I spar a lot of really experienced pros. First time I sparred with a world title holder in my own weight class, I was visibly shaking until the bell rung to start.
are you fine after it starts? i assume so or you wouldnt have so many rounds under your belt.
Try popping a couple Advil beforehand. The pain relieving properties soothe nerves. This is actually advice I learned in the context of exam anxiety, so I am speculating when I apply it to boxing.
