I never said all fat is unhealthy, monounsaturated fat is obviously healthy and plyunsaturated fat is healthy in moderation.

eat granulated sugar for a week and post a link again like it matters.

being healthy and performing at a top level goes well beyond calorie control.

"calores in, calories out, bro. learned it on the internet."
Maybe I misunderstood the point you were making since you weren't very concise. What was the point in bringing up that excess carbohydrates are stored as fat?

You shouldn't be eating huge plates of any kind of food if your goal is to lose weight so why did you target carbohydrates?

Frog, I'm curious, what's your diet like and where are you getting your carbs from?

Your body is a machine that needs fuel to operate. If you feed it fuel, then it will run, if you starve it, then it will stall. If you feed your machine cheap fuels (starchy, sat-fatty, etc.), the fuel lines get clogged up. If you feed your machine lean fuels (high protein, low fat, etc.), it will run clean.

Basically, your body will burn whatever you consume, it doesn't matter, calories in, calories out. Now if you eat high trans-fatty foods, then what you don't burn will be more easily stored as fat....that's the key. So the leaner the foods you eat, the less likely you are to pack on pounds of fat when you don't reach your caloric deficit and the less likely you are to have clogged arteries.

You need carbs for energy as well as the regulation of your glucose levels and several other vital functions. This is ESPECIALLY important if you are restricting the amount of fat in your diet because your body looks to carbs for energy first, then fat. If you have no fat and you aren't eating carbs, then............there goes your hard earned muscle mass.

Just run slower......your body burns a higher percentage of fat than carbs at a slower, steady heart rate.

My diet varies but for breakfast I usually have 1000 calories of DIY soylent. Then for lunch if I'm working I'll have two or three protein shakes in milk since I can't physically eat much at work. If I'm at home I'll have chicken red Thai curry with lots of rice, or an oven pizza for lunch. For dinner usually curry or chicken salad sandwiches, or pb&js with a protein shake. I also have two packets of top ramen or a large glass of gatorade an hour before I do boxing drills. I also sometimes have spaghetti, chili, hamburgers, talapia for lunch and dinner when I'm home.

In case you're wondering here's a link to the DIY soylent I make. It's dirt cheap and extremely healthy. http://diy.soylent.me/recipes/people...lla-perfection

Your body uses carbohydrates for energy before it uses fat for energy so it doesn't matter if you eat a high fat diet or not you'll gain same amount of weight from the same amount of calories. Unless you eat so little fat that you turn excess calories from carbohydrates into fat you won't gain less fat from eating the same amount of calories. The atherosclerosis from trans and saturated fat we can agree on though.

You burn a higher percentage of calories from fat at a slower work rate but you burn more fat total the higher the work rate. Why would you want to burn less fat total?

I'm actually cutting down to cruiserweight but having second thoughts about it. When I started boxing training full time I was 240lb and I'm about 225lb now.

I don't know about that Soylent. The human body is meant to eat real food.

And I hear that soybeans increase estrogen production.
