Probably around 4000 or more calories to maintain. There's no way to tell for sure though...

I dont think that many of us here are heavy weights.

Most of us here seem to train a fair bit and lose weight or maintain it.

I'd agree with this, north of 4000 calories.

Was recently advised to consume 2500-3000 a day to maintain muscle mass (not sure how reliable this is but was from a local personal trainer), I'm about 150lbs 5"10 and do alot of running as I'm training for marathon.

Same here, I'm about 150-145 and I eat roughly the same amount of calories to maintain. If I start eating around 2000 calories or less, I start dropping weight. Good luck on your marathon.

Anyhow, it must be pretty sweet being a heavyweight, those guys can eat relatively well and not focus on making weight but being in great shape.

For a little perspective when I was doing bodybuilding and weighed 250lb I needed about 5000 calories a day to maintain weight. When I started boxing I didn't need as many calories to maintain weight and ate around 3500-4000 calories. A professional boxer trains harder than I do obviously and would need to eat more calories but I don't slack on training either.

The amount of calories depends on your workout routine that how much workout you do daily. Every one should take calories according to their physical conditions.
