What is it like at your gym? Any stories about meatheads or funny tales to tell? What do you think the ideal gym culture is like? The gym I regularly go to feels like a 2nd home and its fantastic.

I go to a gym where you where the head trainer is this tall and lanky fellow. About 6'3. He teaches all the classes and makes everybody, even the short dudes fight in the style of a 6'3 boxer.
It is a very weird gym policy.

Mine is pretty good, it has a very friendly environment and it seems like the good fighters do their own thing aside from warm ups, our coach is pretty old so he just observes. usually some of the older/experienced fighters do hands on stuff with the new guys.

Coaches making you travel triple the distance when you could've fought at a show just 1/3 of that on the same exact day, all so the other coach would bring his fighters when your gym holds it own club show.Last edited by Box-Office; 01-30-2015, 10:31 PM.
