    Question for Rockin'

Since you are familiar with the Kronk would you happen to know anything about what their workouts were like?

Did they have a certain routine that they followed, did they shoot for a certain number of pushups or sit ups or pull ups etc? That kind of thing.

They trained like rabid dawgs, every day, ever time. If you didn't than you would not last long in that enviornment. 3 heavy bags, a ring, a ton of knowledge and ferocity is what Kronk was.

All that I've heard are in the 'rumor' status. Emmanuel knew his stuff with boxing, he built a strong gym and squad and helped A TON of KIDS who could very well have ended up dead if it was not for Kronk and Emmanuel.

I will comment on Bill, I watched him work many times. To me Bill was great. In so few words he would speak volumes in just 5 or 6 words. In his later years I would stay around the gym to talk with him, what stories he had. Any way, Bill Miller is a wizard when it comes to not only throwing the dukes but in evading them as well.

Unfortunately both Emmanuel and Bill have passed on. The boxing world should never forget these two. However, Kronk still breathes.

Technically the team is still from Detroit and working of Detroit (amongst other locals). However, there is no longer a Kronk gym. When budget cuts were made in Detroit Kronk is one of the many rec centers that were taken from some good people in the city....

Sugar Hill keeping Kronk alive, expect for some ELITE talent to come from Detroit in the next few years.
